They say to do one thing every day that scares you. But why does it have to be scary? I say, just do things. Just getting out of bed can be difficult enough; it's so comfortable there. But you have to, even on your day off. Go for a walk in the park, volunteer at the animal shelter, read a book, clean your apartment, get rid of all the clothes you don't wear. That, or bake cookies. There is never anything wrong with baking cookies. The point is to stay away from Facebook, to use Reddit sparingly (like those fats, oils, and sweets at the tippy top of the Food Guide Pyramid), and to really try all those DIYs you pinned. The point is to go outside, to learn something new, to make things out of other things, to just feel like you did something.
I don't really know how to do this "blogging" thing; even the word "blog" kind of irritates me. I don't have a super-nice camera or the energy to set up a cookie-photographing studio. I just want to make the cookies and tell you about how great they came out. There are millions of craft blogs out there, and I can't compete with them. I'm not trying to sell you anything. And I don't think I'm going to change the world here. I just want to tell you about neat stuff. And maybe if you read about how productive I am and how happy it makes me to do things and stuff every day, you'll be inspired to do things and stuff too!
